My Sweet Friends,
As some of you might know, my dear Mom has Alzheimer's. Last week she had another stroke and is not doing well and is in the hospital. There has been a significant amount of bleeding in her brain causing pressure, so she is sleeping most of the time. With all she has been through, when I talk to her she still will try to open her eyes and smile at me. My friends if you could please say a prayer for my Mom it would mean more to me than you will ever know. My heart is breaking right now.
My sweet friends, I want you to know that you are all very special to me. Your visits and your endearing words that you leave for me have always meant so much.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Of course I'll be saying prayers for you and your Mom. I'm so sorry for what your both going through right now. I just wish I could hold your hand and be there for you with hugs and shoulder to lean on. I've been meaning to come by everyday and just haven't gotten to it. You're in my heart and prayers. Please try to rest which I know seems impossible.

I am so sorry...I wish I could capture words from heaven to ease your fear and concern for your mother. I understand your pain..I lost my father 4 years ago. I pray your mother finds strength and you find comfort. These words may not carry a lot of weight but just know you are never ever alone and there are many who care and have compassion and are willing to reach out if you ever need a friend. This I express from the very bottem of my heart.

I am so sorry, Carol Anne--I will certainly pray for your mom--I know this all has been so hard for you. I hope you can take a little comfort in knowing how very many people care about and love you! I hesitate to call, as I know you are probably at the hospital and needing private family time, but you know you can call me ANYTIME if you need to talk to someone--I am thinking of you, sweet friend!

Honey I am so sorry about your precious Mother. I told my sister yesterday we have no control over what happens to us here. But God's grace will take care of your Mother and you when she is with him.
My Dad(stepdad) has the same thing. He has forgot all his family when he sees them. But talks about them. He still knows me and say hi Janice, but he doen't reconize my sisters. It is terrible to see our loved ones like this.
Lots of us are thinking about you so draw strength from knowing that.

I am so very sorry to hear your Mother took a turn for the worse...I can't express to you the words of sadness I feel for you. You have been a beyond devoted & wonderful daughter, any Mother would have been sooo proud for you to be their girl. Your Mommy has been so lucky to have you & you her. My prayers are with you friend & please email me or call if you'd like someone to talk to about anything! I hope to be home in 3 days...I lost my cell phone along the way, but will get in touch with you soon friend!
