Art to Share & Vintage Images For You

Hi Dear Friends,
It seems like it’s been forever since I posted, January is over already and soon it will be Valentines Day…where did the time go?  It has been so busy here!  As some of you know I work for my son Jeff’s screen printing business.  Well, my little part time job has become a full time job as his business is growing by leaps and bounds!  I am just so very proud of Jeff, he is doing wonderful and it couldn’t make me happier!

Because of our work schedule lately my poor blog has been neglected and I am very far behind in Nancy’s Smitten Class that I signed up for.  I did have some time over the weekend to complete my tag so I thought I would share it with you today.

The image I used is from my collection and it has been sitting on my work table for the longest time.  I just love the way the Father is tenderly holding his little girl and how affectionately his little boy is resting his hand on his Father’s shoulder.  It is just such a loving photograph and was so inspirational to me when creating this tag.  I chose a line from a favorite poem of mine by E.E. Cummings for the sentiment, that line of the poem just seemed to fit perfectly to describe the very special love parents feel for their children.

~I Carry Your Heart With Me~
I carry your heart with me (I carry it in
my heart) I am never without it (anywhere
I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)

  Ifear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

Icarry your heart (I carry it in my heart)

E.E. Cummings

Here are some gifts for you dear friends…hope you will enjoy these images.  I was thinking the other day how very much I would love to see what you create or have created with any of the images that are here.  I think it would be wonderful to post them on a special page.  If you would like to, please email me a picture…I would just love that so much!

I’m so happy you stopped by and thank you so much for the lovely comments you always leave…they mean so much to me!

With Love & Hugs
